December 16th proved to be a very festive service and a great afternoon with an incredible Christmas meal ( prepared and served by the Board) and enjoyed by all. We also had a fun raffle with some fabulous gifts - including readings , healings, and some festive Christmas items.
We had BOTH our charismatic Reverend Dianne and the delightful Nicole Powell presiding at this service.
As always we had some extraordinary mediumship demonstrations , music, readings, and a very moving candlelight blessing.
And a lot of laughter - especially revolving around Heather's Christmas poem - which you can read below.
We want to thank ALL of our "regulars" for making this such a special and magical day, and we also want to thank and WELCOME all the new people who joined us this beautiful day.

Heather's Poem : T’was the Service Before Christmas
T’was the service before Christmas, when all through the hall
Not a member was missing, they came one and all.
The posters were hung, on the pictures with care
Creating a scene, with a Spiritualist flare.
Elizabeth our guiding light, her service is key
Without her at the helm, who knows where we’d be.
When out of the blue, there arose such a clatter,
Elizabeth jumped to the podium, to see what was the matter.
There was our Reverend, seven principles in hand
To connect with Divine Source, is the skill at her command.
Dianne’s mediumship is stellar, her readings divine
Seasoned advice she gives freely, so our path will align.
Our volunteers we have, are second to none
They all pull together, service calls to everyone.

They both do great work, by taking care of the dough.
Fern each service she tries, to keep up like mad,
Scribbling our dear messages, on her notepad.
Founding member Wendy, the church lore she does know,
For her wisdom and humor, helps this center to grow.
Student Minister Nicole, she’s committed to train,
She speaks Spirits voice, but it’s our souls that will gain.
Church helpers Suzanne and Leonard, Louise and Jerry to name a few,
Joyanne, Shirley and Dawn, of course Sharon and Heather too.
Guest Mediums Carol, Malcolm and Bruce, are all such delights,
Patricia, Pam and Janine, guiding us with Spirit's insights.
So let’s head downstairs, for a cup of Christmas cheer,
There is fellowship and Spirit, but no gin, wine or beer.
Know your guides are there, to help you it’s true,
Not just at Christmas, but all the year through.
Have hope love and faith, feel your souls shining light,
My cup filled with gratitude, I toast you all a Goodnight.
